lyrics
Falling into earth with wrath in mind
Staring at the clouds as I decline my solitude
For your servitude.
As they cry in benediction
I hope they botch your crucifixion.
There will be no resurrection today.
As I drag your body to the grave
Pull back the stone and reveal what is to be.
You are now a corpse
And your religion fails to breath.
Eucharist of shit. I demand a name.
You remain enthralled you shall call me
Call me the one.
There's more importance in a name
Than a face. Faces are forgotten
names they live in infamy.
Paradise of shit, Eden was its name
Defiled in piss a worthless abyss
Smoldering ash and the fire
Is not going out.
My son my child your hands tremble in mine,
blood soaked ever weakening
The rot in your mouth wreaks of
malcontent forked and spewing venomous lies
You are what I made you to be
The blasphemous Spawn on duality
These twisted mirrors of flesh praise my name
with borrowed breath
Regardless of that which I take,
this that I break, the lives that are lost in my wake
Their curses are reserved for you first born
Scapegoat of scorn banished forlorn
My son my child defiled I cast thee into the abyss

Dessiderium manages to truly say something from within, giving a voice to the truly indescribable world of deep depression, loss, and grappling with an unwillingness to continue on. This one-man visionary seems to have mastered the art of putting sounds to the exact feelings he and others have experienced, creating a unique yet highly relatable soundscape of both dread and sorrow. americaneurosbmlover66613

Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito
Utterly indescribable new record from Greek metal band Locust Leaves features corkscrewing tempos, manic vocal shifts & dense arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 6, 2017
